POLAR Pressing station
forms compact reams by pressing the air off the material to be cut.
The POLAR pressing station is mainly used for processing labels, because this requires utmost cutting precision.
Another application is the compression of voluminous cutting material. The material to be cut is transferred to the pressing station manually or automatically with loading Transomat TRB. By forcing out the excessive air cushions in the cutting material stack a solid, stable block is formed that can be processed more easily. After the pressing process the ream can either be manually pushed onto the cutting machine front table or transported with the Autotrans gripper direct to the machine rear table, depending on where the pressing station is positioned.
