For almost 25 years, a 78E cutter from POLAR Mohr stood in the print shop from North Rhine-Westphalia. Now the family-owned company has invested in a new N78 PLUS and the compatible RA-2 jogger.
Natrop Druck GmbH is a family business from Germany: Magnus Natrop is already the third generation to run the print shop. While the fourth generation is already scurrying through the print shop in its infancy, parents and wife actively support the business. Printing is done on an SM 52 from Heidelberger Druckmaschinen as well as on a digital press. The print shop mainly does commercial printing and specializes in VDA labels for automotive suppliers and all types of adhesive labels and tags.
Natrop is a loyal customer of Heidelberg Druckmaschinen and POLAR Mohr. A POLAR 78E cutter has been providing good service for almost 25 years. With a new N78 PLUS, the workflow is to be modernized. With the same cutting width, the graphic programming automation now ensures a largely automated workflow.
Since the machine is a demonstration machine from POLAR, the purchase was made directly through the Hofheim-based company. The handling and installation went smoothly and convinced the managing director of the print shop. Without further ado, the matching RA-2 jogger, also a demonstration machine, was also purchased. Good service pays off, and the second purchase was easily arranged within two telephone calls.
The POLAR Mohr company
POLAR Mohr was founded in 1906 as "Adolf Mohr, Maschinenfabrik". Since then, the company has not only changed its product focus, but has also risen from a regional supplier to become the world's number one supplier of high-speed cutters and related peripheral equipment for the graphic arts industry. POLAR develops efficient solutions in the field of print finishing and is positioned worldwide as a forward-looking technology company. The product range includes components and systems that network and automate all processes from loading, jogging, cutting and die cutting to unloading and banding.
